Na interseção entre cultura, diversidade e entretenimento, um evento especial aproximou ainda mais Brasil e Tailândia. O “Olá BL&GL” aconteceu em São Paulo na sexta-feira, 31, celebrando a crescente popularidade das séries Boys Love (BL) e Girls Love (GL) entre o público brasileiro. A iniciativa, idealizada pelo Ministério das Relações Exteriores da Tailândia, a Thailand Foundation e a Associação Tailandesa de Conteúdos Boys Love, buscou não apenas divulgar essas produções, mas também reforçar laços culturais entre os dois países.

Com a presença de atores e atrizes do gênero, além de membros do governo tailandês, o evento foi um verdadeiro encontro entre fãs e artistas, proporcionando momentos emocionantes e aproximando ainda mais o público brasileiro desse fenômeno asiático. Segundo Nattaphol Na Songkhla, Diretor da Divisão de Diplomacia Cultural do Ministério de Relações Exteriores da Tailândia, a recepção calorosa reforça o potencial desse intercâmbio cultural. “Foi um dos pontos altos da nossa visita. Ver os artistas interagindo diretamente com os fãs brasileiros é algo especial”, afirmou.

O evento também serviu como palco para encontros entre empresas tailandesas e seus parceiros brasileiros. Na quinta-feira, 30, uma reunião de negócios reuniu oito empresas líderes em GL e BL da Tailândia, abrindo caminho para futuras colaborações. Segundo o Ministro, mais atores e atrizes devem visitar o Brasil ainda este ano, consolidando a presença dessas produções no país.

Entre os artistas que marcaram presença estavam Jes Jespipat, Bible Wichapas, Jur Vasin, Newyear Nawapat, Pan Jirachot e P Ekkapop, representando o universo BL, e Aom Punyawee e Mimi Ruethaiphat, do GL. A comitiva tailandesa também contou com nomes de peso do Ministério das Relações Exteriores, da Embaixada da Tailândia e da Associação Tailandesa de Conteúdos Boys Love, reforçando o compromisso com essa ponte cultural.

O “Olá BL&GL” não foi apenas um evento; foi um marco na conexão entre Brasil e Tailândia por meio da arte e da representatividade. A expansão dessas produções no Brasil não só amplia o acesso a narrativas LGBTQIAP+, mas também fortalece laços entre culturas e cria um espaço de acolhimento e diversidade no entretenimento global.

On Thursday, the 30th, a business meeting brought together eight leading GL and BL companies from Thailand, paving the way for future collaborations. According to the Minister, more actors and actresses are expected to visit Brazil later this year, further establishing these productions in the country.

Among the artists in attendance were Jes Jespipat, Bible Wichapas, Jur Vasin, Newyear Nawapat, Pan Jirachot, and P Ekkapop, representing the BL universe, as well as Aom Punyawee and Mimi Ruethaiphat, from the GL scene. นอกจากนี้ งานยังเป็นเวทีให้บริษัทไทยได้พบปะกับพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจในบราซิลอีกด้วย ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 30 มีการประชุมธุรกิจที่รวบรวม 8 บริษัทชั้นนำด้านเนื้อหา BL และ GL จากประเทศไทย เพื่อเปิดโอกาสสำหรับความร่วมมือในอนาคต รัฐมนตรีกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของไทย เปิดเผยว่ายังมีแผนให้นักแสดงจากไทยมาเยือนบราซิลเพิ่มเติมภายในปีนี้ ซึ่งจะช่วยสร้างฐานของซีรีส์เหล่านี้ให้แข็งแกร่งยิ่งขึ้นในตลาดบราซิล
